- Insure that bed brakes are locked once final placement is established.
- Insure that the patient rails are locked in place when in use.
- Make sure that all body parts are away from “pinch points” on bed frame.
- Insure that there are no children, pets or other people or objects under the bed before lowering head, foot or entire bed.
- Never pour water over patient during bathing to avoid electrical shock.
- Inspect the bed and mattress weekly for wear and contact your equipment provider should you have any concerns.
