- Do not exceed incline over 9 degrees
- Do not use joystick in an erratic manner when going up an incline
- Do not turn off the controls by switching the ON/OFF button when moving at speed. This will bring the brakes on immediately and could cause damage to the controls.
- Do not ride over deep, soft terrain (soft dirt, loose gravel deep grass)
- Do not attempt to mount a curb height above 5cm (2”)
- Do not carry passengers
- Do not mount or dismount the chair unless the brakes are engaged and the controls are off.
- Do not attempt to operate the wheelchair while in the freewheel mode.
- Do not ride on road except for crossing between walkways.
- Do not sit on the wheelchair while in a vehicle.
- Always stop before making a sharp change of direction.
- Always use the lowest speed when going down steep gradients.
- Always approach a curb at the slowest speed and at 90 degrees.
- Always keep your feet on the footplate when moving.
- Always use the seatbelt.
- Always keep the tires properly inflated if you have pneumatic tires.
- Always make sure that the batteries are fully charged before setting out for a long journey.
